Privacy Policy

Your privacy and the confidentiality of your counselling are foundational to everything we do. Here's exactly what we collect, why, and how we protect it.

Last updated:

Ultimate Counselling Cloud(“UCC”, “we”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our platform, why we collect it, how we keep it secure, and the choices you have. It applies to clients, counsellors, and visitors across Pakistan.

  • Account information — name, email, phone number, password (hashed), and role (client or counsellor).
  • Profile information — for counsellors: qualifications, licence details, specialties, languages, rates, and availability.
  • Health and session information — intake forms, goals, journal entries, and clinical notes you or your counsellor create. This is sensitive data and is treated with the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Payment information — bank-transfer receipts and mobile-wallet references. We do not store full card numbers; card payments are processed by our payment partners.
  • Technical data — device, browser, IP address, and usage analytics used to keep the service secure and reliable.
  • To create and manage your account and match you with counsellors.
  • To schedule, deliver, and follow up on counselling sessions.
  • To process payments, hold funds in escrow, and pay counsellors.
  • To send service notifications, reminders, and (with consent) updates.
  • To verify counsellor credentials and maintain trust and safety on the platform.
  • To comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse.

Everything you share with a counsellor is bound by professional confidentiality. We do not sell your personal or health information. The only exceptions are where disclosure is required to prevent an imminent risk of serious harm to you or others, or where required by law — your counsellor will explain these limits in your first session.

We encrypt data in transit with TLS 1.3 and at rest with AES-256, enforce role-based access controls, and maintain a full audit trail of sensitive actions. Our practices align with PMDC and Pakistan Psychological Association standards. While no system is perfectly secure, we work continuously to safeguard your information.

  • With your counsellor — the information needed to deliver your sessions.
  • With service providers — payment processors, hosting, email, and video providers who are bound to protect your data.
  • When required by law — to comply with a valid legal request.

You can access, correct, export, or request deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent for non-essential communications at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].

We retain account and session records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, clinical, and accounting obligations. When data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymised.

We may update this policy as the platform evolves; material changes will be communicated in advance. Questions? Email [email protected] or visit our contact page. See also our Terms of Service.
